2 oz. Belle Isle Ruby Red Grapefruit
1/2 oz. MOTHER shrub Grapefruit Shrub
3 oz. Tonic water (We like Jack Rudy Small Batch Tonic.)
1 Sprig of rosemary
Optional Garnish: grapefruit peel or wedge
Add grapefruit shrub and rosemary sprig to a mixing glass and gently muddle. Top with ice and add Belle Isle Ruby Red Grapefruit. Stir, then strain into a glass over fresh ice. Top with tonic water, and garnish additionally with a grapefruit wedge or peel.

Add a shot of ginger shrub to a mug of hot water and give it a stir.

2 c MOTHER shrub ginger shrub
2 tbsp ginger peach jam (I used local AgriBerry jam)
2 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
Combine and marinate pork tenderloin for an hour then grill or roast. Delicious!
1 1/2 oz. Belle Isle Ruby Red Grapefruit Moonshine
1 1/2 oz. MOTHER shrub grapefruit shrub
4 oz. seltzer water
Serve over ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a grapefruit slice. For added oomph, add a splash of Prosecco.
1 1/2 oz. MOTHER shrub Ginger
1 1/2 oz. Belle Isle Honey Habanero Moonshine
2-3 oz seltzer water
Juice of 1/2 lime
Add moonshine and ginger shrub to an ice-filled copper mug or highball glass. Add lime juice and top with seltzer water. Garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy!
Variation: Use a generous splash of MOTHER shrub lime instead of juice and ginger beer in place of ginger shrub.

Ingredients
Gently crush mint in the bottom of the glass. Add shrub and spirits. Top with seltzer and ice. Squeeze in the juice of a lime wedge. Stir. Serve with lime as garnish. If the flavor is too sour for you, add a bit of sugar to taste.
3 14.5 ounce cans of chick peas, drained (reserving some if desired)
1 large clove of garlic, pressed
1 jalapeno, stemmed with seeds removed if desired
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 – 3/4 cup of olive oil
splash of grapefruit MOTHER shrub (1/2 to 3/4 ounce*)
Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Add more olive oil (or reserved liquid) if too thick. Add more garlic, jalapeno, and shrub to taste. Serve at room temperature.
* 1/2 ounce = 1 Tablespoon
4 ounces champagne, sparkling wine, cava, prosecco…
.5 ounce (1 T) cranberry or black cherry MOTHER shrub
Pour 1 T shrub into a champagne glass followed by 4 ounces champagne, cava or prosecco or sparkling wine. Gently stir and serve.
Variations: add a splash of seltzer to spritz it up a bit and make a lighter cocktail.

Splash of club soda or water
2 ounces bourbon
Ice
Orange slice, for garnish
Add black cherry shrub and a splash of club soda to an old-fashioned glass. Add ice and bourbon and stir. Squeeze orange slice over glass to extract juice and oils, add to glass. Stir again until drink is chilled, then serve. Enjoy!
